The InteractiveTurf (IT) website has undergone
a major facelift in the past few months, highlighted
by enhanced database capabilities and improved networking
of information between researcher and program user.
This instructional seminar and open discussion will
examine these developments and their implications
on the way we manage turfgrass pests now, and how
the IT program can integrate with an IPM approach
so we can more effectively manage turf pests in
the future.
The interactive computer session will include a
complete detailed walk-through of the website with
detailed analysis of each of the new features which
include:
· Pest Bulletins
· Weather/Pest Database
· Pest Alerts
· Pest Newsletter
· Sponsored Research
Each participant will be seated at a computer
workstation so the class can follow step-by-step
through the process of using the system. Seating
is limited to the first 30 applicants and all interested
turf professionals are invited to attend for free!
So come join us and learn more about the exciting
new developments of the IT Program!
Please RSVP no later than July 25th by email to
